Jimmy Henchman Found Guilty Again of Hiring Hitman to Kill 50 Cent Associate

Derrick Hill

This is the former entertainment manager's third time to stand trial for ordering the hit on G-Unit affiliate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher, who was murdered in 2009. The first trial ended in a hung jury and the second trial ended in a guilty verdict; however, a new trial was ordered by a federal appeals court. Henchman, the founder and former CEO of talent management company Czar Entertainment, was found guilty Tuesday night by a Manhattan federal jury on four counts of murder-for-hire, each of which carries a life sentence. Even if his convictions had been overturned, the 52-year-old was already serving two separate life sentences related to gun and drug charges. Henchman maintains that he never intended for Lodi Mack to be murdered. He claims he only ordered men to shoot at Mack in retaliation for him allegedly pistol-whipping Henchman's 14-year-old son outside of Hot 97's Manhattan studio in 2007. “There is absolutely no physical evidence in this case that proves Jimmy intended Lowell Fletcher to be killed instead of shot at,” said Rosemond’s lawyer David Touger in closing remarks.
